Ridgewood is a leading water desalination company that has been operating in the water, electricity, and environmental sectors as a subsidiary of Ridgewood Energy since the late 1980s (USA). Ridgewood Egypt for Infrastructure Projects was founded in 1999 to deliver water and power on a build, own, and operate basis.. Since then, we have been determined to seek business prospects and expand vertically and horizontally while leveraging our knowledge and resources to fulfill consumers' expectations. With effect from November 2020, Hassan Allam Utilities and Almar Water Solutions have bought the business. The company's long-term goal is to consolidate Ridgewood in the water services and investments at a local level. The new shareholders brought an improvement in technical diversification, financial capacities to tackle the latest initiatives the market needs, and a long-term vision of the business.

Legacy is a Hassan Allam Holding company that was created for the purpose of managing and operating the Grand Egyptian Museum. Our objective is to ensure the seamless operation of the Grand Egyptian Museum and cultural complex, alongside the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities. Transport & Logistics

As owners of two large quarries, we mine our own limestone and dolomite. We meticulously crush, shape, screen and wash all extracted materials. Our aggregate products are used in concrete, roads and pavements all around the MENA region.

Producing in excess of 100,000 precast products every day, we’re a leading concrete supplier within Egypt. We make concrete blocks and bricks as well as curb stones and pre-cast units. At our plant in 10th of Ramadan City, we operate two automated production lines, which keeps productivity high and costs low.

We provide end-to-end services and we cater to upstream, midstream and downstream sectors. With extensive experience in oil refineries, liquefied natural gas plants and petrochemical complexes.

Power & Energy

Delivering over 1,000,000 m2 of ready-mix concrete annually, we are a trusted supplier on countless construction sites. Our high performance products are independently monitored for quality, making them the ideal choice for especially challenging projects.

Ready Mix Concrete

We design and manufacture concrete pipes, producing approximately 200 km every year. Both our reinforced and prestressed products are engineered to withstand changes in temperature and pressure. That’s why they’re the preferred choice on water transmission pipelines around North Africa.

Reinforced Concrete Pipes

Governments across the MENA region have committed billions of dollars to the creation and enhancement of their transport infrastructure. Road and rail projects are accelerating as MENA countries are faced with rapidly growing populations that are placing incredible demands on 
existing networks. At Hassan Allam, we do more than just fix problems. We view transport infrastructure as a way to improve the communities in which we work. With over ten years of experience constructing roads and bridges across North Africa, we are the perfect partner for governments in the MENA region. In Egypt, for example, roads are the most vital form of cross-country transport, and as congestion has worsened and overall conditions have deteriorated, improving the road systems has become urgent. In response, the government has placed a high priority on completing improvements to, and an expansion of, the network.

Roads & Bridges

With an annual capacity of 40,000 tons of steel, our plant in Alexandria, Egypt, is the backbone of our steelwork business. We are ASME certified as approved manufacturers and assemblers of power boilers, pressure vessels and pressure piping. Our plant produces 5,000 tons of plate work annually, which is delivered to sites across the MENA region.

Structural Steelwork

Water scarcity is one of the biggest global challenges. Parts of the world are experiencing more frequent rainfall due to climate change. 
At the same time, the scarcity of fresh water in the MENA region is threatening public health and impacting food production. In Egypt, for example, the scarcity of water can be attributed to increasing urbanization. Improving lives is important to Hassan Allam. Our expertise in water dates back to the 1970s. Since then, we have come to carry out some of the region’s most complex water projects. Today, our work is at the heart of efforts to ensure that water supplies and wastewater are efficiently managed. We partner with industry leaders and top-tier technology providers to construct sustainable water systems across the region.

Water & Wastewater

We specialize in all types of resinous flooring, from concrete stains to epoxy mortar systems. We cater to all requirements: industrial, commercial, institutional and residential. In addition to our flooring, we provide waterproofing systems for garages, roofs, pools, retaining walls and gardens.

Waterproofing Services

We design, manufacture and distribute a wide range of wood products including fire doors, flooring, cladding and architectural features. Spanning 3,000 m2, our workshop is where we fulfil bespoke orders for clients with specific requirements.
